As for your second question:  yes, we do have a device that allows you to
connect 2 Tmote Sky devices and interface to them over Ethernet; it is
called TmoteConnect.  The documentation is available at
http://www.moteiv.com/products/docs/tmote-connect-datasheet.pdf This device
costs $140 in single unit quantities; there is a PoE solution available for
it, and it would cost an additional $40.
