 Clean compilation of source code for the basic OS's at least (Windows,

Comment:

 First round of fixes for clean compilation on Linux has been completed in
 release vic-2.8ucl1.1.7. Most issues addressed are related to gcc-4.0.

 Still some minor tweaks outstanding, these will go into future releases.
 Will reopen this ticket then.
