 Jason could you try out the attached patch on the mpeg-4 SVN branch.

 It adds the 'Decoder' and 'Mode' menus as cascading menus of the 'Size'
 menu (i.e. the right mouse button context menu of the video windows).

 I've also added half, normal and double size entries to the Size menu, as
 the existing fixed size menus don't work correctly with H261AS streams.
