 Just a comment about using graphedt.exe.

 In graphedt.exe when you mouse right click on any filter pin in the graph
 and press the menu item "Pin Properties", an error message box may come up
 with the following message:
  ! The requested property page cannot be displayed.

 This happens when proppage.dll is not on the system or is not registered.
 Try issuing "regsvr32 proppage.dll" from the directory with graphedt.exe.
