Hi Piers,

thanks for restoring the cvs access. I got rat-4 and
succesfully compiled it on the IRIX platform. Please
find the ready-to-install distributions here:

  www.baigar.de/irix/rat-3.0.35.tardist
  www.baigar.de/irix/rat-4.2.26.tardist
  www.baigar.de/irix/vic-2.8ucl1.1.6.tardist

The packages contain binaries and manual pages.
Rat3 and rat4 can be installed simultaneously and
3.0.35 is launched via "rat" whereas rat4 launches
4.2.26. Vic is launched viy vic.

I tested the binaries on the following boxes:

O2 (R12k, AV1): rat3, rat4 and vic
Indigo2 (R10k, Impact, cosmo): rat3, rat4 and vic
Octane (2*R12k, evo): rat3, rat4 and vic
Indigo2 (R4k4, galileo): rat3, others not tested
                               but should work.

Thanks again for your cooperation,

    best regards,

      Erik.
