Could you install Ubuntu's luvcview package and reply with the output of 
the following:

   ./luvcview -L

or if it is /dev/video1 :

   ./luvcview -L -d /dev/video1

Hopefully that will list the possible pixelformats and corresponding 
resolutions for the Kworld-USB2800 (unfortunately not all V4L2 devices 
report their capture resolutions as it is an optional feature in the 
V4L2 spec).
