Is there any more detailed information for adding the codec to<br>
the RAT codec library?<br>

Is it possible to add the codec executable (.exe) code, or des this
require the codec source code?<br>

You would need to add the codec to RAT codec library, including a
suitable RTP encapsulation (see RFC 3351). see the README files in the

I am testing a set of voice codecs that are not in the RAT toolkit.<br>
The codec softwere are installed on my Windows machines (voice encoder<br>
on one PC, and voice decoder on another PC).<br>
Input to the encoder are speech files (in .wav or .raw format). The <br>
digitized output of the encoder is stored in a file.<br>

Can I use RAT's RTP/UDP/IP capabilities to transmit the file to the<br>
remote Windows PC that has the voice decoder installed,<br>
to recover the decoded speech. <br>
<br>
If RAT cannot be used, which other (preferably windows-based) tools are<br>
out there to build, transmit and recover RTP streams?<br>
