If you have a two machine AG node, Bonjour is used to discover the AG Service Mangers running on the other machines, i.e. Tools -> "Configure node services...', then Service Manger -> Add, the drop down menu will list any discovered AG Service Mangers. Bonjour isn't critical for AG operation
